Members, start your Spring cleaning by updating your SBSHRM profile! And to say thanks, everyone who updates their profile in March will be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift cards.

Just log in to the Member Area, then click Manage My Profile in the left-hand menu. Once your profile opens, have a look at your information. We appreciate your ensuring that everything is correct, especially in these areas:

In the Primary Contact Information section, please make sure your E-mail address is correct. This is the address we will use to send you meeting notices, recertification certificates, and Chapter updates.

Once you have updated this section click Save in the bottom left corner.

In the Custom Fields section, please make sure we have the E-mail address that you use for your SHRM membership. This helps us complete the membership audits required by SHRM.

We'd also like to get your t-shirt size. We are planning to provide members with t-shirts to wear to our community impact events; we will have these in time for our beach cleanup in May!

Once you have updated this section click Save in the bottom left corner.

If you have any trouble accessing your profile please send a note to [email protected].

We look forward to announcing the winners on 1 April!

Participate in the 2021 Florida Workforce Needs Study

Posted by [email protected] on 02/11/2021 9:45 pm

The HR Florida State Council partners with the Florida Chamber of Commerce to help move toward HR Florida’s vision to lead the way and making Florida the best place to work.  We need your help to continue to enhance the Florida workforce forward for years to come.  Please look at the information below and take a moment to complete the survey

Pre-COVID-19, Florida employers told the Florida Chamber of Commerce a skilled workforce was the top priority for 2020. . . then COVID happened. While vaccines are on the way, a return to some sense of normalcy will take time, and we anticipate Florida's workforce needs will continue to be a top issue.

A high-quality workforce is Florida's best long-term economic development strategy and crucial to becoming the 10th largest economy by 2030. We need your help to understand your company's evolving workforce needs and the impact the pandemic is having on your recruiting and training goals. The results of the survey will be incorporated into the Florida Chamber Foundation's 2021 Florida Workforce Needs Study.

Please click here to take the survey.

Thank you for your valuable participation.
