Top 25 Employee Discipline Tips to Avoid Employment Lawsuits

This session is designed as a refresher for experienced HR pros, and also a great foundational session for those HR pros with little experience.  Regardless of whether your workplace is unionized or not, this session will help you think like an employment lawyer who may need to defend you.  This session can help you properly handle minor issues before they grow into huge legal problems.  Rather than boring lists, this session will use real-world examples to assist in understanding the concepts presented. Content will include real-world COVID-related situations that HR professionals are dealing with right now.

  • Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to handle discipline issues so that the organization can defend against challenges from the EEOC or an employee’s lawyer.
  • Use the emotional intelligence you are learning about in other webinars to advance the success of employees, and minimize the need for discipline.
  • This session will expose you to fresh and new examples, rather than stale hypos that you have heard over and over.
